looking for some mods that will make it better, and cheaper is always better, and is there something that will cover the shafty thing that spins underneath? i just broke one and would like to protect the new one?
there is a tmaxx website, maxxtraxxusa.com go there and check it out, by the way, what is a shafty thing? I have 4 t maxx's and am not familiar with that particular part. Hope this helps.

Why wont the glow plug on my Traxxas T-maxx glow?
Jul 01, 2006 by mx_fox_ridr_2 | Posted in Hobbies & Crafts
The glow plug on my traxxas will not glow, i have replaced the plug several times thinking it would be the plug, i also replaced the wire that connects to the plug. That didn't seem to help either. I don't think that it is the EZ Starter, becuase the starter turns over but the glow plug will not ignite the fuel. If someone could please help that would be great Thanks.
you need to try a hand held glow plug stick it might be your built in glow plug starter is not working try it with the glow plug out and hook up the wire and see if it glows if not its the built in ignighter and you need a new one or a stick type that you clamp on looks like a screwdriver good luck if it glowes than your mixture is off and or another fuel problem
