What are the best wheels and tires for the Traxxas Jato 3.3?

I would like to upgrade the tires i have on it and would like something better for off road driving. All it does now with the tires on it is spin in the dirt/grass. i need more traction. please help.

Yep, mine did the same thing until I read an article in R/C Car Action magazine. Pro-line MOAB tires at least for the rear. It makes a huge difference but you have to change the pinion and spur gears for the larger diamiter tires. The transmission won't shift into 2nd gear if you don't. Try Yahoo! search and you might find it or maybe the magazine's website in past articles. I don't have the article anymore so I can't tell you the specs. Just remmember to stand back when those big tires bite in and throw dirt at your pants !!

What causes my traxxas jato 3.3 to twitch?

I just broke it in. Whenever I move the steering knob or touch the trottle its twitches and shakes for a couple seconds sumtimes longer, is their a solution to this problem or is it traxxas is sh8tty????
Thing is if I use fully charged nimh receiver packs it twitches the throttle and steering servos. If I use weak, or new slighty charged nihm packs no twitch. Also no twitch when using the 4 AA pack.... wtf

Is it possible to use ordinary petrol mix with oil on a traxxas jato 3.3 racing engine

I was looking into buying a Jato 3.3, but I don't know if it has a reverse gear. So can it go into reverse? Thanks!

Excellent choice but no the jato does not have reverse, in fact I don't know of any nitro rc that has it.

hi i have a traxxas jato 3.3 and when i plug in the ez start controller it has both lights on but the motor will not turn the glow plug wortks perfectly fine but the motor will not move can you help me please ?
