There a different versions of the Traxxas Bandit and all stores sell them for relatively the same price. If you do not have a local hobby store you should check these webistes.

Although the price is reletively the same for all of them, the shipping I've found from site to site can be a huge margine of difference, some twice as much as others. I'd look at online stores based more on the shipping fee than the original.

I would avoid the xl-1 and go straight to the XL-5 version unless you want to look into Traxxas new addition the VXL brushless version which is 150.00 more.

XL-5 should pay no more than 169.00 and shipping
XL-1 " " 149.00 and shipping
New brushless just came out so prices range to a max of 369.00 and shipping

traxxas is knows for its very,very durable cars and the new bandit xl5.1 is fast but may i suggest going with the rustler xl which is a wicked fast stadium truck, grat to learn on, great to race with.
