I am thinking of buying one as it looks like an awesome model, I have built many r.c models includeding lots of tamiya radio controlled cars. is the Ford High Lift worth buying?

Best receiver for radio controlled model trucks?

I recently bought a tamiya ford f350 high lift radio controlled truck kit,what is the best recevier to use,as I'm using tamiya's telescopic airel (the ones used with tamiya's 1/14th tractor trucks) instead of the plactic pipe that came with the kit.

I've got 4 of the tractor units, and all have no aerials, using the LRP electronic receiver, but as rule of thumb, you get what you pay for and while pricey I have been using the JR Racing JR XR21 set (hand control & receivers). for my Baja 5b & FG models. Not got any complaints. Mind you, never had any complaints with my Dash Saber kits either and they were cheap!
