What should i do to upgrade a tamiya grasshopper?

I have just bought a tamiya grasshopper and i am wondering what i should to to make it faster and handle better. As i am new to r/c cars please explain simply

To make your car faster you can get a motor better than the motor that it comes with (check the "motor limit" on your speed control). As for steering upgrading to a faster steering "servo" (thing that steers the car) can make it handle better due to the faster reaction time. Hope this was simple enough to help you understand it :)

How much would it be for a battery for a 1/10th tamiya grasshopper II?

I have a grasshoper II and i have kind of burnt the battery from being on the charger for an hour instead of 15 mins. LOL. Where could i get one from in Australia???

ihave a tamiya grasshopper car what motor will fit it?

it has 540 motor but what other motors fit

it will fit any 540 or 550 motor you may wish to buy but you will have to upgrade your Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) to handle the power. The Tamiya RS 540 is ideal as it works with the tamiya TEU-101BK ESC which comes with all the re releases now. I have this combo in both my grasshopper RR and Hornet RR but i have seen hoppers with race spec motors and they go like a rocket.
