RC Tamiya F-350 Highlift?

Right now I have a 1:6 Nylint jeep that is not working right now and I am not sure if it will work again.So right now I am looking into the Tamiya highlift and and I am intrested in getting one to replace my Nylint.I am looking for the best deal to order it online,so can someone find a good website that sells them for about $250-350?Thanks!!

Good luck. I love that kit, I have two. Buy from your local hobby shop, give your business to local businesses instead of the Internet or mail order. A lot of hobby shops are closing down because of the Internet. Sure it may cost a bit more. Lets put it this way, which would you prefer cost or service. I'll pay a little extra for service. If I have any problems its easier to talk to someone ion person than on the phone. At least you'll be talking to someone who's knowledgeable. Good luck.

Tamiya F-350 Highlift?

I am getting this truck in a month or two and how is this truck?On a scale of one to ten what would you rate this truck?How is this truck in offroading?My last question is how long would it take to build this kit?

If it takes you more than 8 hours to build you are not truly an RC guy. That is a super basic truck, and tamiya's are so easy to put together. It will probably be OK offroading, but definitely don't expect any serious jumps out of it.

The internal coil and the single shock design is weak. Tamiya's rock, and their electrics are great, but this truck is a kids truck which makes noises, etc..

I have a midnight pumpkin which is a tamiya from the 80's and it is pretty tough. It loks like the chassis is much stronger, but this truck has a nice differential.

From one to 10 I'd give it a 5. 10 would be like an E-max or something which you can just launch..
