is the Tamiya dark impact water resistant ?

im interested in buying a tamiya dark impact i need to know if it is water resistant and if you want to leave a review please do so

The tamiya dark impact is not water resistant however there are ways to make it so but not 100% you cant turn it into a sub :) First you will have to put the motor ,receiver, and speed control in balloons or condoms then tie them and/or then zip tie the ends and seal them with shoe-goo. How ever this isn't recommended due to the fact you will have less cooling and mite overheat your electronics. For a review you mite want to try rc411, rccaraction.com If you really want a water proof set up you mite want to check out the Traxxas Slash it is a stadium truck however and not a buggy it usually runs for about $200 or so check with your local hobby shop you should also check to see if they have parts readily available also at ur lhs(local hobby shop) unless you don't have 1 u can check the r/c maggz like radio control car action Xtreme rc cars and rc driver are the most commonly circulatedd mags I can think of all 3 have web sites and can help you think all 3 have done reviews on the dark impact and the slash also you mite want to check out Traxxas.com
