Apr 03, 2008 by corbin N | Posted in Hobbies & Crafts

What wrong with my Team Losi Mini T?
Jun 23, 2007 by Two-Bit | Posted in Hobbies & Crafts
I have a really nice Team Losi Mini-T, its custom lowered in the front suspension and in real nice shape. But my issue is that it wont move. I know why, I just don't know what I need to replace. I did a lot of reverse wheelies (which is when you go full throttle in reverse then floor in forward to get the truck to pull a wheelie) and I stripped some gears, but I don't know what gears I stripped. Can anyone tell me what the likley suspect is. I am thinkin the slipper clutch, because it looks kinda melted and it is not really contacting the way it should when I run it without the cover on. Could it be that, or what? Again all it does when I give it throttle is shutter and shake, but it doesn't move. HELP!! Thanx!
slipper clutch is probably smoked as well as the ring gear. go on ebay and do a search for losi mini t...there are tons of parts available. you should look into getting the ball bearing differential. fyi..the small gear that mounts to the motor shaft is the pinion...the large gear that is mounted to the axles is the ring gear. many times they are sold in a set called a ring and pinion.

What is the top speed for the Team Losi Mini-t 1/18 scale model; and is it worth it?
Jun 02, 2008 by Dan | Posted in Hobbies & Crafts
I don't have the Mini-T, but I have the Micro-T (1:36 scale) and I love it. It goes pretty fast out of the box. I am kind of new to driving the cars, so it is good for me. I also have a grasshopper, full size. Although I love driving that one, I like the micro-t better. I would say get it if you are new to it and just want to try it out. They are almost like radio shacks's xmods, but go a little faster, and made way better. Hope this helps.

Whats wrong with a losi mini t that the front wheels will turn left to right, but the back wheels won't move?

your motor is probbably dead or you need to replace the brushes on it, also make sure that all of your connections are good.

I think they do. Go to your local hobby shop and ask. Or go to ebay and compare the pictures.
