would a hpi nitro mt2 g3.0 fit in a hpi rs4 3?

im thinking about buying a mt2 g3.0 to put in my rs4 3 but im not sore if it would fit because it goes to a 1/10 scale buggy

well i have bought a g3.0 engine for my rs4 since the hpi catalogue says its compatible with the nitro 3 which i think is the rs4 but i have been unable to fit it tride several engine mounts and will not fit and looking at the size of the engine i think you have to put a roto start back plate on it to make it fit as it looks to big, i have writen to hpi asking the question should get a reply 2moz and ill let you know..

i get it to run and it only moves with the remote and sometimes it goes alittle bit faster when i press the gas idk what is wrong i really wanna fix it this makes me so upset!

If your new I would advise that you get the electric. It's not as loud, complex, or even difficult for starting up.

Nitro is a different story, and they will be harder to drift.

check the needle setting High and low it's lean you need to open the needles. also make sure that you have good air flow over the head and don't run it static

HPI Nitro RS4 RTR 3 Drift Car Review

It was inevitable that after the success of the electric drift scene that a nitro contender would eventually step forward. It’s no surprise that this challenge would come from HPI who have a large stake in the e-drift category and continue to back the class with new cars and drifting products and accessories.

Available in 2 different colour schemes we plumped for the Vertex Toyota Soarer which comes with a powerful Nitro Star G3.0 engine, a HPI TF-1 Transmitter, ball bearings, and a painted & finished body. Even the packaging of this products sets the heart racing.

The tranny is a basic 27MHz model and all the necessary electrics are fitted to the fully bilt chassis. The Vertex Toyota Soarer is HPI’s latest 200mm bodyshell which is bound to popular with the drifters as it looks fantastic.

The new Nitro RS4 RTR 3 Drift chassis is a further eolution of the original RTR 3 Evo incoporating the Stage D drift conversion kit.
